Mission statement

The Bike Station's 'A better way to work' team, with the assistance of a number of partners, are working with a variety of Edinburgh based businesses or organisations with less than 500 employees. We will offer these employers help and support in encouraging more walking, cycling, bus use and smarter driving amongst their employees.

Aims of our campaign
  • For 2,500 people to start or increase the number of times they cycle or walk to work to three or more days per week.
  • For 5,000 people to cycle, walk or take the bus to work at least one day per week.
What our customers say!

While driving through town on my way to my first ever cycle lesson I saw a confident, young woman navigating through the traffic on her bike and I thought 'I want to be like that'. Now thanks to Bike Station I can see me achieving the same... with practice!
